This presentation is a Level 3 exploration of the need for older adult LGBTQ+ affirming sensitivity programs, practice and protocols and how to implement programming. The course includes downloads with calendars of event, activity suggestions, bibliographies for libraries and media centers and other valuable information.
A certification of completion is provided.
It is advised that all staff enroll in one of the Level 2 and Level 5 elective courses to meet the legislative requirements of NJ2545 and to learn more about providing equitable and affirming care and services to LGBTQ+ older adults.
Additional courses suggested to compliment understanding of the challenges and disparities within the LGBTQ+ older adults community.
