LGBT Senior Housing and Care Course #501 provides a step by step guide to establishing an affirming and welcoming environment in housing, healthcare, daily care and professional services.
This course provides detailed processes and procedures for establishing an LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming environment for older adults, their families and caregivers. Included are downloadable documents for sustainable success including sample survey questions and intake forms, anti discrimination statements, activities and calendars, creating a Cultural Competency Committee, and creating by-in with residents, families and community.
Students will have 14 days to complete this course.
This course provides a certificate of completion and a 30 minute FREE technical assistance session with an LGBT Senior Housing and Care team member.
